Book Talk with Peter Lippman

For well over 15 years, Peter C. Lippman has dedicated his professional career to researching, programming, planning, and designing learning environments. Peter has worked throughout the United States as an Educational and Resource Planner. At the end of 2011, Peter relocated to Perth, Australia where he has been appointed Associate Director at EIW Architects. In this role, Peter continues to practice the traditional role of the architect along with informing the organization about design research and research methodologies in order to provide the most appropriate solutions for projects. An analytical thinker, Peter applies design research to design practice and provides social science research tools and methodologies that are unique to the practice of architecture. He serves on AIA’s CAE Leadership Group. Peter has published extensively as well as presented and run workshops all over the world that examine how they theory of learning influences and shapes the learning environment. Peter’s book, Evidence Based Design of Elementary and Secondary Schools: A Responsive Approach to Creating Learning Environments, was published in September 2010 by John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
