The TEACHABLE FILE (teachablefile.org) is a working catalog of alternative art schools and
a reference on experimental education. First created in 2010, the TEACHABLE FILE is forming itself through communicative action and engaged research. During this afternoon panel, affiliated researchers who have been formulating a new site for the TEACHABLE FILE through the Are.na online platform discuss this collaborative method for community-generated archives and databases while engaging with the audience to consider additional features to serve its users.

Cambridge Book (cambridgebook.org), was founded by Carson Salter and Sandeep Bhuller as an art and theory bookshop in an office at MIT. The company’s website is built using the online platform Are.na as a flexible content management system. During this afternoon discussion, Salter and a panel of peers explore the technical possibilities for the future of small-scale book distribution and sales, a practical logistic in dire need of organizing.
