Celebrate Pride Month at Green-Wood

Green-Wood celebrates Pride Month with a special trolley tour illuminating permanent residents who have made a lasting impact on American history and culture. You will visit the graves of important LGBT figures including activists and founders of the Hetrick Martin Institute, Drs. Emery Hetrick and Damien Martin; sculptor of Central Park’s Bethesda Fountain, Emma Stebbins; and “It’s Raining Men” co-writer, Paul Jabara; among others. This trolley tour is led by Andrew Dolkart and Ken Lustbader, Co-Directors of the NYC LGBT Historic Sites Project.

Trolley tour is $25; $20 for members of The Green-Wood Historic Fund and members of the Brooklyn Historical Society. Reservations are recommended. If the event is not sold out, walk-ups will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
