Clymove Dance will honor dance legend Sarita Allen, April 2 at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, 405 West 55 St., NYC.  Ms. Allen will be presented with the Elisa Monte Leadership Legacy Award in an evening that also features a world premiere by director Clymene Aldinger and a second premiere by JoVonna Parks.  Another special treat will be a performance of “Pigs and Fishes,” one of Elisa Monte’s most celebrated works, which was originally choreographed on Sarita Allen in 1982 and has not been performed in NYC in a decade.
