Cognac: Back to Basics

What is Cognac, anyway? Brown spirit, brandy, made from grapes, and so much more. Nicolas Palazzi, the acclaimed importer behind PM Spirits will lead a 45-minute crash course in Cognac: how it’s made, what it tastes like, and some labeling basics. In this seminar, you’ll taste four Cognacs that demonstrate a range of styles and quality levels.
Nicolas Palazzi owns and operates PM Spirits, a small New York-based import/distributing company specialized in the sourcing of artisan spirits with a focus on Cognac. He is also an independent cognac bottler with proprietary cellar in the Cognac region of France, sourcing, aging and bottling single casks (or demi-johns) of old, pure artisan cognacs.
