Eminent scholar Daniel Albright (Untwisting the Serpent: Music, Literature, and the Visual Arts; Evasions), Ernest Bernbaum Professor of Literature at Harvard University, will define some terms useful for describing the relation of an art work in one medium to its congeners or recastings in another medium. This program is a collaboration with The Anthony Hecht Lectures in the Humanities at Bard College.
