George Saunders

The first story collection in six years from MacArthur “Genius” Grant winner George Saunders is cause for celebration, and Greenlight is proud to host the book launch event for Tenth of December – which is also the first selection of the Greenlight First Editions Club. The stories in this new collection are infused with Saunders’s signature blend of exuberant prose, deep humanity, and stylistic innovation. Taking on the big themes (class, sex, love, loss, work, despair, war), Saunders’ stories here are concerned with what makes us good, and what makes us human.
