How to Get Personal in Print with Nancy Davidoff Kelton

Do you want your writing to resonate? Engage readers? Among the hallmarks of good writing, according to author/instructor, Nancy Davidoff Kelton, is self-revelation NOT self-absorption, which she describes as the difference between Ah Ha! and Oy Vey! This workshop gets you started and keeps you revealing your best self. Nancy gives writing exercises, techniques, and inspiration that tap into your experiences, memories, truths, and dreams. She offers advice on how to send your internal and external critics on sabbatical, establish a regular writing routine, avoid procrastination, and capture what you wish to express in your own voice. In-class and at-home writing exercises will open you up. Outside reading and marketing suggestions are given. Tip sheets will be handed out. Writing materials will not be provided, so please bring your pencils, paper or laptops!
