Global Citizen and Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights present:

The Spirit of a Movement: An evening celebrating ICONIC HUMAN RIGHTS leaders of the past and present.

Through MOVING MUSICAL TRIBUTES and dynamic speeches, the event will HONOR THE LEGACIES of Nelson Mandela, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Robert F. Kennedy, Mahatma Gandhi, and U.S. Representative Shirley Chisholm, the first black woman elected to Congress. THE PROGRAM WILL ALSO CELEBRATE present-day leaders such as fashion icon Dapper Dan, Olympian Ibtihaj Muhammad, and March for Our Lives youth advocate Naomi Wadler.

Presenters include Kerry Kennedy, daughter of Robert F. Kennedy, Kweku Mandela, grandson of Nelson Mandela, CNN contributor and author Van Jones, and more notable names. Well-known journalist and author Isha Sesay will serve as host for the evening’s program.

Performances by: Keyon Harrold, Victory, The Howard Gospel Choir, Members of Alvin Ailey II, Cumbe Dance Ensemble, and surprise musical guests.

Please make sure to RSVP as tickets will be checked at the door. Note that seating is first-come, first-serve; tickets do not guarantee admittance. Doors open at 5pm.
