Handel’s Messiah

Michael Spierman, founder/conductor of The Orchestra of The Bronx, announces the annual free presentation of Handel’s Messiah, joined by The Bronx Opera Chorus, soloists, and guest readers.   Short texts are selected from biblical sources by Charles Jennens, and read by members of the Bronx Community. As always, Spierman has gathered a varied and distinguished roster of Bronx figures to read, including Presidents of colleges, newspaper editors, government officials, artists, a university honor student, a waiter at a popular Bronx restaurant, and more.
