Sing and march along to your favorite holiday carols on the High Line this year with Brooklyn Express Dumline, the Lesbian & Gay Big Apple Chorus and the New York City Housing Authority Youth Chorus.

High Line Food vendor La Newyorkina will be offering hot chocolate and treats for sale.

B.E.D will kick it off at the Tenth Avenue Square at 2 p.m. The event is free and open to visitors of all ages. No RSVP required.

Donations of unwrapped gifts for children ages 4-14 will be collected as part of the High Line Toy Drive.

ABOUT BROOKLYN EXPRESS DRUMLINE (B.E.D)
The Brooklyn Express Drumline is one of the premier percussion youth groups in New York City today. Comprised entirely of youth and young adults from ages 16 and older, the group serves as an outlet that inspires, enhances creativity, fosters leadership, and develops a drive to succeed. The Brooklyn Express Drumline is known throughout the city for their energetic showmanship sharp choreography, and powerful rhythms taking on more than 40 various shows each year in various cities & states at colleges, show cases, competitions, fundraisers, parties, commercials, celebrity events, charity holdings, parades, weddings and many other gatherings, celebrations, events and venues both big and small. The Brooklyn Express Drumline is definitely the appeal of entertainment at any event and we have our history to say that for us.

ABOUT THE LESBIAN & GAY BIG APPLE CORPS
The Lesbian & Gay Big Apple Corps is the premier band for LGBT musicians and their friends in the New York metropolitan area. By bringing musical excellence sprinkled with the gayest of glitter to that most all-American of mediums – the marching band – the Big Apple Corps promotes equality, social acceptance, and harmony for all.

The Lesbian & Gay Big Apple Corps is New York City’s premier symphonic and marching band. As a symphonic band, it perform several concerts each year in venues ranging from local schools and churches to Alice Tully Hall. Larger concerts are often performed in conjunction with the Lesbian and Gay Band Association, and have included performances at the Paramount Theatre, the Hollywood Bowl, the 2000 March on Washington, both inaugurations of President Clinton, and Gay Games events around the world. In addition, band members often get together to create small chamber ensembles, including flute trios, woodwind quintets, brass choirs and saxophone ensembles.

ABOUT NEW YORK CITY HOUSING AUTHORITY YOUTH CHORUS
The New York City Housing Authority Youth Chorus was created in 1997 as a vehicle for showcasing the talents and abilities of NYCHA residents and members of the surrounding communities. The Youth Chorus is dedicated to excellence in its performances and has a long and distinguished list to its credit. Some of these include: the legendary Apollo Theater, Avery Fisher Hall and Disney’s Epcot Center, the Official Chorus at the New York City 2000 Millennium Celebration, Radio City Music Hall (with Sir Elton John) and the International World Harmony Run at the United Nations, Mayoral Interfaith and Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfasts, and celebrations for the World Champion New York Yankees at City Hall. More than just a group of singers, the NYCHA Youth Chorus has come to be known as the Good Will Ambassadors for the New York City Housing Authority, instilling a healthy sense of pride and accomplishment in each and every one of its members.
