The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and The New School for Public Engagement bring together a collection of musical luminaries to discuss the current state of Hispanic music and what kind of challenges the future holds for a variety of genres within it. With Grammy-winning jazz artist and New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music faculty member Bobby Sanabria; Sandra Velasquez from the indie rock band Pistolera; bandleader/historian Aurora Flores; Claudia Norman, manager and Festival Founder + Director of Celebrate Mexico Now; and Artist Development Manager Yuzzy Acosta from Eclectic Media. Composer/theorist Chris Stover of The New School moderates.
