I Giullari di Piazza (The Jesters of the Square) present their annual fundraiser/performance at Lunella Restaurant, 173 Mulberry Street in Little Italy.  The evening will include a delicious dinner, awards to noteworthy Italian/American artists, and a performance of the Company’s popular “Tarantata,” an impeccably researched production, performed with authentic costuming and instrumentation, of songs, tarantellas, and magic rituals used to cure the mythical bite of the tarantula.  Awardees this year are Angelina Fiordellisi, former artistic and executive director of the Cherry Lane theatre; actor/writer Saverio Guerra; director/photographer Lisa Leone; and author Alex Iantaffi.
