It’s Alive! Two Centuries of Frankenstein in Two Galleries and an Atrium

Come one, come all! Join Elizabeth Denlinger, Curator of the Carl H. Pforzheimer Collection of Shelley and His Circle, for an exploration of Frankenstein at 200.

She’ll describe the task of putting together a large exhibition — Frankenstein the novel, but also the theatrical and cinematic versions as well as comic books and illustrated editions. Some of the images and items found will be shared, as well as a thoughtful contemplation on how curators think about sharing manuscripts, objects, and art.

It’s Alive! Frankenstein at 200 is a collaborative exhibit between The Morgan Library & Museum and The New York Public Library and is available for viewing at The Morgan Library & Museum.
