Fifteen jazz groups perform identical set lists and fill 15 Met galleries with sound. There is a half-hour intermission between sets, at 7pm.

First Set

  • “Stompin’ at the Savoy” – Edgar Sampson,
  • “Night and Day” – Cole Porter,
  • “Take the A Train” – Billy Strayhorn,
  • “Body and Soul” – Johnny Green,
  • “Straight, No Chaser” – Theolonius Monk,
  • “Good Bye Pork Pie Hat” – Charles Mingus

Second Set

  • “St. Thomas” – Sonny Rollins,
  • “All Blues” – Miles Davis,
  • “Sidewinder” – Lee Morgan,
  • “Lonely Woman” – Ornette Coleman,
  • “Blue Nile” – Alice Coltrane,
  • “Freedom Day” – Max Roach
