“Morbid Anatomy” Opens Bridging Two Worlds Exhibition at the Green-Wood Cemetery This Fall

Morbid Anatomy, beloved purveyor of the arcane, curated a lecture at Green-Wood Cemetery called Altered States.

Altered States: Award-winning photographer Shannon Taggart will share images from her 17-year-long exploration of séances and the curious ways that Spiritualist mediums, Vodou practitioners, and the King of Pop have used altered states of consciousness in their quests to access invisible realms.

This lecture is $15; $10 for members of The Green-Wood Historic Fund and members of the Brooklyn Historical Society. Reservations are recommended. If the event is not sold out, walk-ups will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
