Morris-Jumel Mansion’s Annual Victorian Holiday Party

Riverdale Avenue Books partners with lifestyle magazine Romance Daily News to co-sponsor the Morris-Jumel Mansion’s annual Victorian holiday party. The event will be held on Sunday, December 16th, at the Morris-Jumel Mansion, 65 Jumel Terrace from 5:00-8:00pm.

This year the Ghost of Christmas Present will perform the Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol, and Victorian Christmas carolers will serenade guests from 7-8pm. The evening will be capped off by a trivia quiz featuring 20 questions about the history of the oldest house in Manhattan, Dickensian lore and Victorian minutiae with a prize package from Riverdale Avenue Books. Hot spiced Christmas wine, a Dickensian favorite, will be served to guests, as will apple cider and cookies.Victorian-style dress is welcomed!
