Join Queer Eye’s engaging, empathetic culture expert Karamo Brown as he talks about his new memoir, Karamo: My Story of Embracing Purpose, Healing and Hope with The Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart.
For the first time, he reveals the full story of finding his own path, including the exciting ups and major downs along the way. He’ll talk about growing up as an African-American gay man, struggling with colorism, a complicated relationship with his father, physical and emotional abuse, addiction and public infamy. He’ll share the shock of learning he was a father at age 25 and talk about how he’s created a loving, supportive home with his two sons and fiancé. And he’ll share the great moments and behind the scenes stories from Queer Eye.
