QUEEROCRACY: 30 Years In, 30 Years Out: AIDS Activism Today

Gearing up for the 2012 International AIDS Conference this July in Washington DC, QUEEROCRACY will present a workshop about AIDS today and the activism necessary to guarantee access to AIDS treatment and care to all. Through this workshop, QUEEROCRACY seeks to address the importance of making claims that treatment is prevention. Participants will learn about opportunities to become actively involved in ending AIDS and will also be invited to join the QUEEROCRACY bus to Washington DC on July 24 to demand, in a major collective action, that we can end AIDS.

QUEEROCRACY is a New York City-based, non-normative, grassroots organization working to promote social justice through direct action, community engagement, and education.
