Remember Moondog?

Remember Moondog? To many New Yorkers he was simply an eccentric icon of the counterculture, a bearded man standing on Sixth Avenue on the Lower East Side in full Viking regalia. Too few appreciate Moondog the master composer, poet, and playwright, who influenced and moved people across the globe. Join us for a celebration of Moondog, with live performances, a reading from his lost play Thor, archival recordings of his poetry, and a reunion of Moondog friends and collaborators.
