Reflect on a world-changing moment.
On September 11, BHS will exhibit Wolfgang Staehle’s work, “2001” – a dual channel video work that captured, tragically, the approach and impact of hijacked planes Flight 11 and Flight 175. Days prior, Staehle had set up unmanned webcams in Brooklyn for a project conveying the predictable normalcy of life. Instead, those cameras chronicled the transformation of a routine workday into a city under siege.
In collaboration with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, BHS will be screening this work in real-time throughout the day, free to the public.
