Shadow Show: A Birthday Celebration for Ray Bradbury

Join us on the late, great Ray Bradbury’s birthday for a celebration of his life and work, and the launch of Shadow Show, a collection of new stories in tribute to the sci-fi legend from a wide set of our contemporary masters, which Joyce Carol Oates calls “a treasure trove for Ray Bradbury enthusiasts.”

Editors of the book Sam Weller, Bradbury’s authorized biographer and author of The Bradbury Chronicles and Listen to the Echoes, and horror writer extraordinaire Mort Castle, will be in attendance. Also joining in are novelists Alice Hoffman (Practical Magic), Jacquelyn Mitchard (The Deep End of the Ocean), and, via Skype, Neil Gaiman, winner of the Hugo, Nebula, Bram Stoker awards and the Newbery and Carnegie Medals (American Gods, Stardust, Coraline, The Sandman).

Dandelion wine will be served.
