Join Spree Wilson in a livestream discussion of his life and career in music.
After purchasing a one-way ticket to New York, Wilson arrived with just his suitcase and guitar. He began writing songs and ultimately landed a publishing deal with Universal Music Group. Since then, he has co-written Afrojack’s single “The Spark,” which also features him as an artist and has been A-listed on BBC Radio 1. In addition, he has co-written “Sin City” on Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music compilation album Cruel Summer with Teyana Taylor. Most recently, he penned “Chief Don’t Run,” the first single from Jidenna’s critically acclaimed album The Chief.
This program is presented by The National Arts Club.
