TAKE CARE: Stories About My Father

For two years, Nate Charles would go on stage nearly every night and talk about the same person — his Dad. Spend an hour with him as he tries to work out why. Take Care is a mostly comedy, kind of storytelling, at-a-stretch mixed media cathartic explosion that’ll have you laughing, crying and calling your Dad the minute the show ends. Nate Charles is a performer/comedian/champion based in NYC. He wrote a full hour-length show about his Dad and flew back to Australia to perform it in front of him. It went well enough that Nate now has a bi-monthly late night show (Late Nate with Nate Charles) in which he interviews different inhabitants of New York City, and both of his parents feature heavily. You can also catch him in various basements, backrooms and on makeshift stages pretending to be different people for laughter.
