On the heels of the 2020 Presidential Election, constitutional scholars examine the current relationship between the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branches and how the balance of powers impacts timely issues, including national security, foreign and domestic policy, and presidential power.
Philip Bobbitt, a leading constitutional theorist, is Herbert Wechsler Professor of Jurisprudence at Columbia Law School. Samuel Issacharoff is Reiss Professor of Constitutional Law at NYU School of Law. Akhil Reed Amar (moderator) is Sterling Professor of Law and Political Science at Yale University and a trustee of the New-York Historical Society.
