‘The Ultimate Hard Cider Crash Course’ Webinar

Fall is here, and as the weather cools down, we turn to one of our favorite seasonal treats — cider! Generally made from fermented apples, cider can be sweet or dry, cloudy or clear, sparkling or still. It’s time to celebrate this refreshing and unique ancient beverage by exploring the multiple styles of hard cider from around the world.

Join New York Adventure Club as we embark on a virtual cider-filled journey to get the 101 on foundational cider topics and lifehacks — all while sipping your favorite cider from the comfort of your living room.

Led by Sommelier Amy Karasavas, who will guide us through the story of cider using whichever can or bottle of cider you have available at home, our virtual tutorial and tasting will include:

  • An overview of how to see, smell, and taste cider
  • The 101 on cider, from the orchard to the glass
  • A look at the global regions that are best known for their alcoholic ciders, along with their multitude of styles
  • Tips and tricks for buying cider
  • Interactive polls, trivia questions, and discussion topics geared for cider lovers

Afterward, we’ll have a Q&A with Amy — any and all questions about cider are welcomed and encouraged!

And as a bonus, expect a cameo from Amy’s dog, Porthos!
