Industry City is hosting a guided conversation about current affairs to help you process and engage in what’s happening in the world. You will leave feeling less intimidated and armed with the tools to have calm, and dynamic political conversations. Refreshments will be provided.

Presenter (2/21): Sari Rosenberg

  • Sari Rosenberg is a U.S. history teacher and writer. She is currently on a team writing the new 11th grade U.S. History curriculum for the New York City Department of Education. Sari is also a frequent curriculum consultant at New-York Historical Society. She is currently writing a YA book about U.S. women’s history. Her most recent media appearances include TheSkimm’s Back To School series and Travel Channel’s “Mysteries at the Museum.” Last year, she wrote the #SheDidThat series for A+E/Lifetime, daily women’s history posts and videos. Sari has been teaching U.S. History at the High School for Environmental Studies, a public high school in NYC, for nearly 17 years. In 2015, she co-founded the Feminist Eagles, a feminist club for teens. She holds a B.A. from Columbia and a M.A. from Columbia Teachers College.
