Before World War II Lithuania was home to 250,000 Jews. During the Holocaust, over ninety percent of Lithuanian Jewry was killed, and today there are roughly 5,000 Jews in Lithuania.

Join European Union Parliament Member, Leonidas Donskis, and award-winning Lithuanian poet and political dissident, Tomas Venclova, to discuss critical issues facing the Jewish community in Lithuania today, the controversies surrounding the mainstream perception of the Holocaust in Lithuania, and the nature of the reparations awarded to Lithuanian Holocaust survivors in 2013.
