Virtual: How to Build a Neighborhood

Join us for a virtual walking tour exploring the history of the Lower East Side through its architecture over the course of 200 years. Every building tells a story. These structures are reflections of the cultures, ideas, and people that built them. This conversation extends beyond the boundaries of a single neighborhood and can, in some ways, be found in every neighborhood, as we continually navigate questions of how land should be used, what housing should look like, and what a community needs. Together we’ll unlock the stories behind every facade.

When: Tue., Mar. 2, 2021 at 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Where: Tenement Museum
103 Orchard St.
212-982-8420
