Working for Bill: Close-Up on a Fashion Legend

For more than two decades, production artist John Kurdewan worked side by side with the late, great Bill Cunningham, who as a photographer, fashion documentarian, and writer, captured New York’s ever-changing social and sartorial scenes for The New York Times. Cunningham’s iconic Times pages have long been revered as an astute reflection of the city’s colliding worlds of high society, haute couture, and emerging street style. Join Kurdewan and designer and author Steven Stolman for a conversation about what it was like to “work for Bill” from a rare and revealing vantage point.
