Greater Good Gathering

Over the past three years, the Greater Good Gathering has brought together technologists, academics, entrepreneurs, journalists, and government officials from across the country to discuss how technological change is affecting government, society and the economy in this annual conference.

The two-day conference at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs will feature over 35 speakers and panelists to explore innovative answers to how individuals and institutions can advance the “greater good” through the public, private, and non-profit sectors.

Panelists include: Nobel laureate, Joseph Stiglitz; geopolitical forecaster and strategist, George Friedman; former Chief Economist at the International Monetary Fund, Kenneth Rogoff; co-founder of Zipcar, Robin Chase; former USDA Secretary, Tom Vilsack; New York Times columnist, Thomas Edsall; and national correspondent for The Atlantic, James Fallows.
