New Yorker Writer Rebecca Mead

New Yorker writer Rebecca Mead has turned her talents to an examination of one of the defining books of her life, George Eliot’s masterpiece, Middlemarch. Rebecca Mead first read Middlemarch as an adolescent, and has, by her own account, “gone back to it every five years or so since.”

With My Life In Middlemarch Mead examines Eliot’s life, the history of the novel itself, as well as her own relationship with Middlemarch.

Joining Rebecca to discuss My Life in Middlemarch will be Nicole Cliffe, writer and editor at MsSweeney’s and The Toast.
