Judith Matloff is a seasoned foreign correspondent who has pioneered safety training for media and women. She teaches conflict reporting at Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism and consults for leading organizations around the world. She is the author of No Friends but the Mountains, Home Girl and Fragments of a Forgotten War, and has been writing about international affairs for nearly 40 years. Matloff’s stories have appeared in numerous publications including The New York Times Magazine, The Economist, The Los Angeles Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
