The Good Fight, picks up one year after the events of the final broadcast episode of The Good Wife, and stars Christine Baranski, and fan-favorites Cush Jumbo as Lucca Quinn and Sarah Steele as Marissa Gold.
Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones), Delroy Lindo (Malcolm X) and Erica Tazel (Justified) have also joined the cast. Robert and Michelle King, creators and executive producers of The Good Wife, return as showrunners and executive producers, and Bernadette Peters and Paul Guilfoyle (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation) will recur.
In the new series, an enormous financial scam has destroyed the reputation of a young lawyer, Maia (Rose Leslie) while simultaneously wiping out her mentor Diane Lockhart’s savings. Forced out of Lockhart & Lee, they join Lucca Quinn at one of Chicago’s prestigious African American law firms. The series spotlights strong, multi-generational women and will cover timely topics, diversity and personal character-driven stories. The show will operate as the nexus of politics and entertainment.
