What We Talk About When We Talk About Israel

Rarely does a day go by that Israel or the Israeli Palestinian conflict isn’t in the news—anti Israel attacks in France, disagreements between Obama and Netanyahu, the BDS movement, terror attacks on the streets of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

And all of it leads to intense discussions on college campuses, in synagogues, our homes and the public square. While everyone can agree that the intensity of the debate over Israel and Zionism has only grown in recent years, very few agree on what that debate is really about.
