The seventh annual 92Y Wonderplay Conference focuses on balancing core early childhood pinciples with 21st century expectations.

This day-long conference includes a keynote by Joan Almon on dynamic education in an eara of rigorous curriculum, accountability and standards; and on how play shapes the brain and opens children’s imaginations by Dr. Stuart Brown.

Presenters include faculty from NYU, Teachers College, Bank Street College, Bank Street School for Children, Queens College, Lesley University, Manhattan Country School, Reggio Emilia, Child Mind Institute, Erikson Institute, National Foundation for Play, Alliance for Childhood, Soifer Center for Learning & Child Development, 92Y Wonderplay Programs, and educators from nursery schools and New York City public school kindergartens and preschools.
