Join photographer, Isa Leshko, and author, Sy Montgomery as they discuss the otherness and sameness of people and animals; the various ways we learn to love and become empathetic; and how we cope with aging and loss. As a photographer, Isa has turned her lens on elderly animals at farm sanctuaries, revealing the beauty and strength that can emerge when farm animals that are allowed to age on their own terms. Sy, in turn, has traveled the world engaging with living beings from tarantulas to tigers, her life informed by the creatures she meets.
