An Evening with Neal Katyal & Baratunde Thurston & Special Performance by San Fermin

Join New York Times bestselling author Neal Katyal to discuss lawlessness and injustice in the current administration and the future of the rule of law. Katyal, the former Acting Solicitor General of the United States, has argued more Supreme Court cases than any other minority group lawyer in American history, breaking the record set by the late Associate Justice Thurgood Marshall. Katyal is the author of Impeach: The Case Against Donald Trump.

Neal Katyal will be joined in conversation by writer and activist Baratunde Thurston as they discuss Katyal’s book Impeach and what it means for the current administration.

The talk will be followed by a special acoustic performance by San Fermin, the visionary project of Brooklyn-based composer and songwriter Ellis Ludwig-Leone. San Fermin has earned worldwide praise for its pairing of pop-minded melodies with lushly avant-garde arrangements. Formed in 2013—shortly after Ludwig-Leone completed a job assisting composer Nico Muhly—San Fermin made their debut with a self-titled LP hailed by NPR as “one of the year’s most ambitious, evocative, and moving records.”

Copies of Impeach will also be available for purchase during the event.
